Beautiful light Malcolm. I think you should convert this monochrome through and boost the contrast some more. David actually posted a journal with some inspiring monochrome stuff, also selective colour work [link] Check it out, you could do something similar to this shot. Just an idea :)

you are liking your HDR! and most people would not pick it which is great. Very intense shot. Hey try to get an aspect wher the long shadows from the rocks cross your photo from left to right.. if you get the lighting!
